It confirms the recommendations of the NCRP Commentary No. 11, on Dose Limits for Individuals Who Receive Exposure from Radionuclide Therapy Patients, and other publications. The report discusses the basic principles of radiopharmaceutical therapy and brachytherapy, safety principles, including patient-release instructions, facility design for nuclear-medicine and radiation-oncology installations, and changes in patient status.
